      twins closet:
      good answer ..

but looking at the chart http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/content/toa-payoh?page=4

yellow color under kheng cheng for phase2CS.. means balloting required for 1-2km. So if im staying within 1km does it means i can get in without balloting? or i still need to ballot?
If you look at the chart, there is 1 year where Kheng Cheng has to ballot under 1 km at 2C Supp.

I am a old girl from Pei Chun till this day I remember the school motto : Li yi lian chi : Courtesy, Justice, Honesty and Honour.

I want my children to grow up in these values that we might lost. Unfortunately, I stay in Woodlands. It’s too far for them to travel and too expensive (COV) for me to get any hdb near the area.
Any school in woodlands with these important values for life?

All schools will somehow teaches these values to their studenst somehow. I think the most important thing is values taught at home. Children see their parents as role model and whatever values we want our children to learn, we must role model ourselves.

Having said that, u may want to check out the Woodlands thread to find out more about Pri Sch in Woodlands. Good luck!

Hi, can somebody tell me why Marymount Convent is less popular? I heard from a couple of parents that Marymount is quite a good school. But how come based on balloting history, it was one of the least popular of all Toa Payoh primary schools?

              :?:

Marymount is located between Toa Payoh and Bishan, with more popular schools like Ai Tong and Pei Chun. For parents looking for single gender schools, there are Chij Toa Payoh and Chij St Nicholas n Chij (Olgc), close enough for consideration. And all the girls schools listed above have affiliation, a huge consideration. Historically, marymount has vacancies till phase 2C supplementary, so many parents will try their luck at Chij toa payoh during 2C 1st.

I think I will be one of them who try my luck with CHIJ Toa Payoh 1st under phase 2B.

Dunno whether it's good or not but definitely co-ed.
