      hi ziltransformer,

dun care what other people say. Henry Park is a very good school. Enter first, slowly then seek transfer to some other school.

alternately, you rent out yr current home. With rental income collected, rent a place nearer to Henry Park. When yr child finish PSLE, shift back to current home.

As parents, we know our kids best. Don't need to care nor think what others say. With schools reducing intake (Henry Park is reducing 1 class this year), secure a place first. In the meantime, gear your child up for P1. Nearer end of the year, then think of the transport issue.

          hi ziltransformer,

Henry Park primary P1 got storybook review. Pupils are encouraged to read storybooks. After that write a simple, short book review, based on what they had read. Not many Primary schools got book review, at P1. HPPS is one of them. Even RGPS P1 don’t do this book review thing stuff. So for remaining half a yr from now, gear up yr child acquire good reading habits.

HPPS is an excellent primary school. So many parents so eager & anxious, can’t wait to enter. They purposely shift house to be within 1 km, just to try their luck in balloting. So, do not give up this precious place.

              hi ziltransformer,

see! other HPPS parents also encourage you to retain your good place. Besides, HPPS is a gift - to be handed down to the next generation, ie. your grandchildren. Think long term benefit.

620am is reasonable time if taking school bus.
Hubby leaves home by 645am to send daughter to school in ToaPayoh (bcos we refuse to give up a place under Phase 2A).

I know Bukit Timah Primary has SNOs for 3 of the above (bold) you mentioned. I am not sure the degree of support, you may want to speak to them. I know of a gifted mildly autistic boy currently in Henry Park Primary and loving it.
