If you don't stay within 2km (for catholic), the school will advise you not to apply.

In a dilemma now. Called St Nick's bus operator and she said that currently there's no bus service to Holland Area (dd's grandma's) after school. sigh !!! Am an old St Nick's girl and it's a pity if I'm unable to enroll her just because she has no transport home. Any ideas ??? The Phase 2A2 registration is just round the corner.

I’m asking this question on behalf on a friend who’s considering sending her daughter to St Nic’s P1 next year. Her concern is that she stays at Holland Village and the school bus does not ply that route. Would any of you be able to advise if there are private busses offering such a route?

call up ALL primary schools Ang Mo Kio, for their school bus operator. Call up all operator one by one yourself. See if any school bus from other schools pass by Holland are to fetch kids to schools in AMK. Ask them if can ‘tong bang’ their school bus, to drop off yr child at St Nick.

do not give up St Nick, just bec of transport issue. Worse case - rent out yr current home, collect the rent, then rent another house nearer to AMK.

personally i pity the child who has to travel so far, esp becos st nics dismiss the kid very late. mon,wed, thu is 1.45pm. even for those who stay amk or bishan, reach home already almost 2.30-3pm. wat more for holland v. st nics is not really that gd is teaching, pardon me, cos my child is there and i m old girl myself


lunch is at tea break time
for tue and thu dismissal is 1.15pm
