                    2 possibilities. Too much beating or vigorous stirring thus too many air bubbles in the batter. Or fire too strong when steaming.


                    In any case, like I always say, for own consumption, taste more important. If it tastes good all is forgotten.

                        Yes. full of butter smell...my son loves it..pop in almost 10 already, my gal doesnot...she still prefer her chocolate chips cookies instead...so may be making a batch tomorrow.
