Xingnan's Open House was very well-timed I think. Looks like it is getting more and more hot!
Lakeside also up and coming huh? I've a neighbor's son there. Think they are strong in calligraphy and band, if I remember correctly. -

Hi, my hubby was an old boy at shuqun years back, hence he was not at this current campus. Well, we have very limited info about the school, that why we were not able to make an informed decision. But we made two trips to the school and talked to a couple of teachers and kids there. Apparently, that few kids we talked to commented that the teachers there are very kind, pretty standard answer thou. Spoken to a teacher there yesterday when she was also at the office to register her son for p1 next year too. She seems rather happy at shuqun and wanted her son to be there too thou they stayed >2pm away. She told me that on average about a class of 40 graduating kids will score at least 250. Seems good to me.hi lakesidemum! Shuqun is your alma mater or your Dh's?
Can you share more about Shuqun cos I don't have much info on Shuqun and I've noticed she is very popular in JW too!
Why does your boy prefer Rulang? Has he been there or are his friends
My ds1 at 6 had no idea about primary schools at all, he didn't have an opinion so we chose for him. I think at P6 he probably will not let us choose for him anymore
My ds2 otoh, like your son, wants to go CPS but we convinced him to try
Frontier. Quite amusing.
My boy prefers rulang cos he claims that his friends are going there. He wants to join the robotics club there. Well, I was told by the shuqun teacher that they do have a robotics club too.
Looking at the vacancies at rulang, very tough.... Hence I am trying to convince my boy to go for shuqun... -
yes…totally agree w LKVM

Thanks LKVM, think will wait until 7pm. :nailbite:mintpapa:
Wonder how many seats taken today?
2 ways to find out
1. wait till 7PM(MOE will update)
2. Call the school(if you are lucky they will answer you) -
Results out for P2A2 12 July,
Rulang left 38 vacancies, meaning only 19 for P2B and P2C each...
Goodness, should we try our luck?
Anyone cares to comment? :?:
