we will be joining the crowd at Fullerton to watch the fireworks. If there is someone who is taking the Pledge at 8.22pm, it is likely kids and i will join in :celebrate: , not dh, he finds it too :oops: , or rather say that he is not sporting one!Happy Birthday Singapore!

Yes... regardless of how kiasu, kiasi and kialang we are, that's what make us uniquely Singaporeans, because these characteristics cut across all races and religions
Let us not take the peace and prosperity in our society for granted, for it has taken us almost half a century to get to where we are today. :celebrate:

Happy Birthday Singapore! I know my DD is very eager to say the pledge, DS, not so much. The parade just started, so all watching it at home!

Went to the Parade. Carried my 16kg sleeping boy from Marina Sq to the Floating Platform....can hardly feel my arms now
. Kiasu me reached before 5pm.
Parade ended at 8.45++, we left the carpark almost an hour later (imagine the jam!!). Reached home 10pm++. Kid dozed off in the car. Just managed to settled down.
Atmosphere is electrifying!
