If you could, would you decide on a 3rd child?

Heard somewhere that if want to try for boy, husband should eat less meat and more vege. I supposed the reverse would be true if want to try for girl. But if not chun, please don’t stone me.

Of course, there is a more scentific way, the before and after ovulation saying. But think that did not turn out to be that true in our case, or maybe I just mis-calculated??

That one is very complicated, well to me it is. I took one look at it and got stressed already. Imagine if I use that, sure :faint: cos mine is regularly irregular (my ex-gynae's words, not mine).

Winth, I have a girl and a boy. I read in a magazine to have a boy must have certain style of doing and to have a girl another style. The different style will affect how X & Y swim. Not sure true or not.

Oppppssss... Oh dear. I post in the wrong forum. Me bad

X sperms are slower swimmers but live longer, so if you want girl, should commit the act 3 to 5 days b4 ovulation date. Y sperms are faster swimmers but live only for 24 hours, so if you want boy, got to do it at the day itself.

Since Y are faster swimmers, if you orgasm and DH deep in, then also higher chance of boys. So if you want girls, should hold off orgasm and also no deep penetra*****.

If you try this method, must be very sure of ovulation date.

But all said, it is not a guarantee foolproof method, but it is definately scientific.

both of us agreed to go until No. 4, then after that see whether finances permit us to have until No. 6

benefits of growing up in a large family far outweigh those of growing up in a small family. Having grown up in a family of 4 kids myself, and having seen hundreds of kids in my career, is proof enough 😉

We have the means and have decided since day 1 that we want 3 maybe even 4. But the finances are there, the help is there, the spirit is willing so is the flesh 😉 unfortunately, nature decided otherwise.

Now we are just wondering whether to go the medical way or hope that nature will spring us a surprise.

If you are above 35, hv been trying consistently for more than 1 year with no results, Yes, do go for a consultation.

Already done, both for me & DH. Doc recommends surgery for DH to correct some problems in his testes.

Jury is still out as to whether to proceed with the surgery. We already have 2 wonderful kids. So on the one hand, we hope for another one, but on the other hand, we are also wondering if we should just be content that we are blessed with 2 already without any issues and leave things to providence.

At the moment, providence is winning.
