Hi mummyloveu & Fur-ma, yes, I went and registered in the morning. There were 23 registrants for <1km when I left. :nailbite:Hi Chooz & Fur-ma, have u registed at ATS already?
The no. of applicants registered at ATS updated at 11am already got 31 applicants. -
P2C day 1 (27 July 2011)
vacancies applicants
1\tAi Tong \t20\t38
2\tCatholic High \t25\t39
3\tKuo Chuan \t109\t85
4\tGuangyang \t158\t14 -
hmm, my logic is that most parents are adopting the wait and see.
As for those numbers in the CHC and ATS, I do believe most of them could be those unsuccessful applicants from 2B? I could be wrong. -
Dear Zeemimi,
Thanks for the advice. Yes, i agree. After some serious thinking and discussion with my family, we decided that KC is likely to be more suitable for my son. And like you said it, look forward to better things like single session, indoor sports hall ectβ¦he will have more fun and better school env. from pri 4 onwards!! I will be doing the registeration tomoro afternoon. Cheers!! -
thanks all for the advice. In the end, we decided not to bring the boy down during the registration.
However, now, looking back, I should. When i was there, the KCPPS was having PE session. And for those a bit chubby, they have to run more, and teachers were quite fierce in \"still walk, run\".. That will be a wakeup call for my son when he touches his food..
For the ballot process (finger crossed), i agree with many, that it may have an adverse impact on the children if unsuccessful. However, sometimes, need to expose children to these situations to learn, and many atimes, I am surprised that children are quite tough. For example, my son and I are quite competitive in arcade racing games, and normally, when we lose, we are quite disappointed. Once we lost, and I was expecting my son to be disappointed, but he padded my hand, and say,\"daddy, its okay, just a game\"..

actually, KC's move did factor in when I choose. But for that 2 years, maybe, we can expose our children to taking the bus. Sometimes, during taking the bus, they can bond easier with other children.
Given there is another forum here that is catered primarily to KCPPS, we parents can discuss if need be on these issues. \"Board index Β» Schooling Β» Primary Schools - Parents' Networking Groups\".
hopefully, we can meet and talk during KCPPS orientation..
