RRMummy:
Thanks, RRMummy! I amChampion:
:xedfingers: for my DD2's classmates registering there as they fall under the 1-2km category so a bit dangerous...
Good luck to your DD2's classmate! :xedfingers:
:xedfingers: for them too!

I agree.. I'm actually more than a little surprise at the take-up rate. Didn't expect it would go through balloting leh.. :scratchhead:
Yes, RRMummy - what I know of as in those of DD2's classmates parents that have registered in FPS - they would rather go for a brand new school than to have (sure have as they predict) in WGPS!
But after seeing the updates in MOE website yesterday, they also start to worry and come up with their back-up plan. Really a nerve-breaking time for them and I can only
:xedfingers: hope for the best for them. :rahrah: :rahrah:
Yes, GOOD LUCK to all under Phase 2C!! :xedfingers:

Guess all the parents are shocked at the competition of 2B for this year, especially for some good schs? go there to try 2C is bit scaring :scared: after all, easier to secure the seats in a new pri, especially for those < 1km, 230+ vacancies, sure no need balot for <1km bah?

and new sch always give ur hope and imaginations, everything is new, so excited!
Hope to see some good results coming out.
for those 1-2km and >2Km one, also got chances. even not lucky, JWP and WGP still got quite a lot vacancies, can be the back up plan?
wish all good luck! :xedfingers:RRMummy:
:scared: :faint:LKVM:
I am thinking I hope they have registered for the correct school... cause if I am not wrong the registration for Frontier is done in the West Grove and I hope parents didnt get confused?(just joking)
Else its too difficult to think when all the other schools have seats Frontier is almost full... its kinda scary??
So either the last day there will be too much of withdrawl or changes...
i am really curious at how many of the 277 are within 1km... looking at the # in WG, i can't imagine how many 2012 P1s there are in that area!!
seems that this new school is getting lots more support than the existing ones :scratchhead: -
RRMummy:
  My DD2 is more than happier to have, if possible, ALL her classmates to join her in the same school!
Blessing in disguise?Champion:
if really can't make it to FPS then their back-up plan will be to join DD2!

Thanks for your sharing, RRMummy
Yes, i am quite new here, will put more time to dig dig
like yesterday found good articles from experienced parents about presch child, really learnt a lot
need time patience and energy to choose a proper sch, but its worthy for the loved little ones :imanangel: -
LKVM:
Thats an excellent news.. finally gahman heard us and Jurong having more schools.. I just hope they dont cut the seats from the current one to fill the new ones like this timeChampion:

[/quote]This year, schs have already cut down by a class and at least another 1 class in the coming years as an effort to move all pri schs to single session schs. So logically, more schs are needed to fill in gap.

Guess this is the intention of single session in all primary schools....As in JW area, so far I only know CPS & JYPS are single-session school.

Thanks! Yes, I'm residing within 1 km. They're already discouraging other applicants that is outside 1 km.
