i see...i hope its not a case tt i gave the wrong contact no. to school due to nervousness....
Will go with my DH...i dun want to go thr this myself....we will probably go early ,'chop' seats & sit there like obedient students as early as 9.30 am...no kids...think too dramatic for them to see their mummy go crazy or faint if we dun get in .....hope they have a medical team standby for such emergencies :rotflmao: -

possible that someone withdraw from earlier phases and now managed to get in another school at later phases. it happens every year. not everyone is crazy for these hot schools - they register first at earlier phases because they could be confirmed for earlier phases. that is it.

results finally all out...58 registered for PH... it's not as bad as i thot it would be...now it's up to pure luck.
seven more days to go ...i'm going to numb myself with work & housework everyday ...wish i can fast forward with my remote to next Friday now....
Did PH call you earlier? They called me and told me 57 applicants, but website states 58.
Same goes for NYPS and ACS prim, my friends told me 52 and 29 respectively, but website states 53 and 30. Umm, wonder where does the extra one comes from and why? -

I am emphasizing here that all cheaters should be caught! This is how NYPS suddenly have two more seats made available for Phase 2Cians. A good job done indeed which I think MOE or schools have to spend more effort in and if possible, introduce more severe penalty terms that can scare away all these cheaters including PRs.

Was talking to a neighbour whose nephew is a doctor and he went to BTPS and then onto RI before heading for med school. -

The convenient school is NYPS? Do you know that their P1 and P2 will be moving to Toh Tuck in 2013, not too far from BTPS?
Yes, I do agree with you. We also want the nearest school for DS which happens to be a popular school too. Think govt may even need to relook at Phase 1 and 2A as many live out of 2km, some as far as the east side and even across the causeway. -

We went to the open hse, the science hod is an enthusiast, that's could be why they r doing very well in this subject. -

Bukit Timah Pri used to called Bukit Batok Pri 30 years ago. There are many hidden talents (teachers) in BTPS according to a friend who did her bond after NIE.

those who fail to ballot to enter MGS or SCGS and are placed on waitlist, eventually which one easier to transfer in - MGS or SCGS ?
i heard from friends many tried to transfer into ACS.
The pile of requests from parents seeking transfer into ACS pile up mountain high. They said very hard ā¦ you can literally count by your fingers the number of openings available. Moreover the school pick the best to transfer in. -
one can examine PSLE results of BTPS to confirm.
