XYZ1:
Thanks, maybe there's no booklist for P1 & 2s.
I've never seen any reading list at all as well...all ds has is just a blank list for him to record down the books he reads.
DS has read some of the books in the list notabox posted. I strongly recommend No. 58 - The Happy Prince. Someone from KSP recommended this book to me previously.
It's a story about compassion and sacrifice. DS was deeply moved and affected by that story. Another book I'll surely get ds to read - eventually - is George Orwell's Animal Farm. All kids must read that book too, hehe. -
Hi parents,
Heard that some pri sch will conduct written assessments for children entering P1 on the orientation day & subsequently group them into classes accordingly to their results. Does PH do that? -
Joyfulhands:
No, PH doesn't. I am not sure about previous years but last year P1s were grouped into classes based on their registration phrases.Hi parents,

notabox:
Yup...usually schools group the kids according to the phase they are registered under...from Phase 1 all the way down to Phase 2C. So for those who are in same class under Phase 1, they will be telling one another which class their gor gor/jie jie are in.

The FT did test the class by asking a qn - what is the most impt thing in PH? Answer it correctly and you gonna be teacher's pet forever. Too bad my ds didn't get it right so now he's not the teacher's pet (am I repeating myself? Signs of old age).

:siam:
Ok joking only, the real reason for this post is that I've a qn for the 过来人. Is P2 gonna be busier than in P1? For this term, I find that the load is almost double that of last semester. Does it plateau from 2nd half of P1 to P2, or is P2 gonna be worst? Does P2 do moxie? Hope not, that's gonna take a lot of time. -
Markfch, iirc, DD had moxie when she was in Pri 2.

-
Moxie lists were given to top 4 classes during my dd’s P2. It’s 深广 list. I remembered reading some time back that all of this year’s enbloc P2 classes were given moxie but started with simpler sentences, instead of paragraphs.

Notabox, Janet,
I see. Tks for your replies.
Markfch,
Ha…Tks for trying to reply. -
