And how do I know my DD gets into the school? by name or by a confirmation call from the school etc??? -

My goodness, which school is that? So r u in the balloting? How many available places?js called the sch... stupid admin lady tell me they cannot said hw many are registered within 1km but only can inform the total number of registered applicants for P2C...
i told them i can see that from MOE website... :roll:
then i asked \" isnt there a way to check the number of registered applicants living within 1km... donch the sch hv a record... \" she put me on hold & say will check
then she came back to the phone & said \" oh, they js update the records... total applicants are 116 living within 1km... :yikes:
i wanna cry now... :sad: -

yup... hv to ballot... 116 applicants against only 88 vacancies... :frustrated:

on aug 5, if you are travelling and unable to use the phone to call, get a friend or relative to call the school to see if your kid has a confirmed place.
you can always call the school to ask what time results will be announced on aug 5 and other questions like letter of confirmation etc anytime before you fly.
