hi all.. do u all know when the result will be out for P2C on the 5aug..As I will be travelling that morning, wonder???

And how do I know my DD gets into the school? by name or by a confirmation call from the school etc???

You should receive a letter from the school confirming the seat.

Do u know where they will mail the letter of confirmation?? :scratchhead:
on aug 5, if you are travelling and unable to use the phone to call, get a friend or relative to call the school to see if your kid has a confirmed place.

you can always call the school to ask what time results will be announced on aug 5 and other questions like letter of confirmation etc anytime before you fly.
Hi, I just heard something from a neighbour within our estate. He said he saw the registerant for Mee Toh is twice higher then the vacancy available at Phase 2C. Then he pull string via grassroot to go under Phase 2B to secure a place. Is there such thing? After Phase 2B and now in Phase 2C still can do such thing? I'm puzzled if the system allows that.

I doubt if that's possible. Once the Phase is closed, it's closed.

i agreed. once a phase is closed, it is closed.

probably talk big, or he meant for next year's registration.
Not sure. Maybe he talk big and hopefully he talk big. If not, need to \"highlight\" to MOE. If not unfair to those register in Phase 2C and need to ballot within 1km. Definitely is this year registration because both our kids is in the same level for enrichment class.

wonder why some schools suddenly become so hot & popular in recent years ?

because they won ‘Best Practices’ award !

eg: Rulang, Catholic High won 3 such award.
eg: Pasir Ris, Temasek, Ai Tong won 2.

              question:

how does MOE award ‘Best Practices award’ to schools ? based on what criteria, in what niche area(s) ?

              so far, the schools that:-

Hmm, as I know, they tick and verify the distance infront of you. So if you see there is a discrepancy, you should have told them abt it.

                  So did they correct it?

Was like a kan cheong spider, and when they ticked, they were talking to me, so I guess I missed it. We only found out when the called to ask us to withdraw, anyway, it was sorted out eventually.

                  Scoobydoo,
Must thank you for highlighting this.

I remembered your words and checked before I left the registration table. True enough, mine wasn't ticked.
Just glad to be able to help.

If you get balloted successfully, the school will mail you the confirmation. Its the same enrollment form you filled up and they will add additonal information eg the orientation date. Its very fast, i got it within 3 working days.

                    Good luck !!

Acutally, it depends on the school. My friend whose child is registered under Phase 2A2 @ Rulang heard nothing from them. And our senior has been telling us that no news means good news. That mean don’t need to ballot.

i agree that it depends on the school. Call up Rulang and ask when you will receive the letter. You may only receive it after all the phases are over..

Phase 2A2 is over and for sure all are in and definitely no balloting for this phase (at least never before). And even if balloting is required, it will definitely be indicated in MOE website and KSP! 😉
