        Lexy:

TUR for BKPS is 53% till 2C, so still within the threshold.

The statstics compound here can be very powerful. All the best.

        :hi5: Lexy

Go easy on yourself jeanieg. Enjoy your weekend!

        RRMummy :hi5:

jeanieg: see pm for details. Hope it helps.

Thank you all for your encouragement. Lucky also got my hubby and friends to cheer me up. So all is not gone yet. Just hope for the best next week. Plan A fails, go with Plan B. If Plan B fails also, then Plan C, lor šŸ˜‚ Six years of pri edu is a long way to go. Must make a wise choice. Though I know my 1st choice was my wise choice for my kid, the odds were extremely great. Gosh, now thinking back on why I took that road down, I am amazed myself. Nobody to blame but it's really all boils down to luck when one decided to gamble and forge ahead with balloting.

I would still hope to get my kid back to 1st choice if given a chance. Perhaps just go on waitlist and see how. If still no luck, then the higher being is telling me a no means no

          go on waitlist

work hard and get a GEP seat and you can opt in again

whats GEP? I intend to put sonny on waiting list too... but not sure how it works and how long it will take.....

We are unsuccessful for chij olqp too. My girl was no 15 and nos 14 and 16 were called! Never felt so unlucky in my life! Was so sad really wanna cry! Now gotta get myself together and get ready for 2c.

I just regretted didnt pv for chij. Didnt plan this whole thing properly! So guess itis my own doing.

Now gotta study the other available school stats and decide on the next step. Most likely going for bukit timah pri but am kinda worried cos am sure many who were not successful will also go for it. Dont think wanna go for balloting again! Too scary!
            jeanieg,
Don't be disappointed. BTPS has very outstanding CCAs and I am very impressed with them. The Principal was invited to give a talk in Pei Hwa this morning to those balloting parents, with special mention in their Science and CCAs. The chances of getting in is high, even if one is on waiting list.

If not because we prefer mission school and also its location, I may register my son there.

Thks to all the ladies for the encouragement given to us parents who didn't get thru the balloting exercise.

I was feeling so disappointed this morning due to the results....becoz of this my hubby & colleagues bought me ice creams.....total of 3 for the day to cheer me up.

Hope my boy can enrol into AGPS next week...pray hard!!!
Just an advice but AGPS Left only 40 places in Phase 2cs I think.

                Anchor Green Primary School 270 \t88 \t0 \t0 \t1 \t181 \t141(Total number of Childrens registered for Phase 2C)

Maybe there is balloting too for Phase 2cs :faint:

Thank you Scary, Lexy, RRMummy and all the mommies for your advice and encouragement! Lets all hope for the very very best for parents going into phase 2c supp!

On another note, which school would you choose: Pei Tong in clementi (which a friend recommended but am out of 2km) or bukit timah pri (1-2km)?

:lightrod: :faint: I was not successful in the ballot too. Waited extra 45 mins because there was an error in the ballot slips and they actually call out almost 300 names from the ballot box to return each slip in order to fish out the wrong ballot slip. Thereafter everyone drop their slips into the ballot box again to start the balloting process. What the....

                    Hope my backup plan works.
                    :yikes: how could they

                    good luck in phase 2C(s)

I am also unsuccessful. Hope no need to go through balloting in phase 2c sup. Regretted going for balloting. Emotional roller coaster!

You're not alone. This year is a crazy year. So many schools including neighborhood schools are over-subscribed. Still don't comprehend...is it that we have too many PRs or have too many people moved closer to popular schools???? Hiaz...I'm just so disheartened to see my chance slipped away just like that...tried PV failed, tried balloting failed. Now just hinge on Phase 2CS outcome. Hopefully everyone gets into their 2nd choice school :xedfingers:

I thought to myself, why so much hype this year? Maybe more babies due to baby bonus intro at aug 2004 onwards and PR ?

Btw can someone enlighten me on waiting list? Must register with one school then can be on waiting list on another?
