I don't know if they ultimately got into NYPS (at least for now). But I heard her husband is old boy of SJIJ, so likely that they've registered him there. Perhaps she would put her son on NYPS waiting list, and since she has PVed before (assuming she has fulfilled 80 hours), she would have some priority on the waitlist...
I guess in context of an article as suchthankgod:
Anybody know which Pri Sch Zoe Tay son got in?
They didn't get into NYPS?
PS - Congrats all that made it to join the NYPS family!

its probably the best outcome
I cannot imagine there ramifications otherwise -
Why did the school ask the students to sit on the wet running track? My dd did not dare to protest and her white skirt .....
Is there any use to call general office so it won't happen again? -
How about writing to the form teacher first?
-
I just called the general office.

Atan:
I suggest you to have 4 sets of PE attire and 1 set of school uniform. My girl wear to school the PE attire on 4 of the school days!VooVoo:
Hmm...so what should be the best combination of shirts/blouses vs. PE attire? I mean, how many to buy for DS?
It is normally safe to have 2 sets of uniforms and 2 sets of PE attire. -
We were unsuccessful in the recent phase 2c ballot. Tried to put our dd under the waitlist but was told by the General Office that the waitlist is very, very long. Sob sob
Now we can only pray very, very hard that we can successfully register her into BTPS as we are >2km

around end of P3 going into P4 tend to have movement.
meanwhile from P1 - P2, do guide your child well, focus, study well, in whichever school the child enters into. In this case, you choose BTPS.
if can, try to excel in some form of CCA. If your child can stand out from the crowd, then easier to get transfer into NYPS.
sometimes there are children who excel in sports in some far, far away, unknown neighbourhood schools - tucked in a hidden corner of SG.
this kid may not even be in any of NYPS long, long waitlist.
However sometimes, very senior representatives from the school may go for some Sports Annual meet, or for some major Sports Conference events. And because this child is very outstanding, he stands out from a huge crowd. Suddenly one day, this child from a very poor family in an unknown neighbourhood school may just be ‘invited’ to come over, join Nanyang.
Don’t forget. Last year, the Youth Olympics was held in SG - Bishan Sports Hall. SG is a young, budding, dynamic Sports city.
NYPS may be looking for young, well-groomed Sports talents, who can balance both academics well with Sports. -
Anyone attended the relocation talk for P1/P2? So are there going to be buses or alternative for parents with kids in both schools?
