My nephew is in GYPS P1 this year. The school program for P1 is quite interesting! My sister likes the PAL program they have for the children. This term, I heard there is a Swimming Program for the P1. Earlier this year, there are Budding Science program and Drama program.. My nephew likes to go to school, he has been telling me about his classmates and teachers. We want happy children, right?

hi NY mummy,
I just called the school to enquire about the no. of registrants as at now and they replied me say dunno!! dont they keep track?
Told them i need a rough feel cos i’m staying out of 1 km …she just told me to wait till end of today and check the MOE website. I’m tinking even though i check today, there’s still tmr and looks like they dont disclose over the phone.
Really dont want to go through another round of balloting again…or maybe not even a chance of balloting?? -
Hi seaangel
is it???? :scratchhead:
Is it because they cannot release the figures of how many registered? Because in my phase i never call and ask. So i also dont understand why like that. But i know they should have the number of vacanices.
Maybe i try my luck to call.... :imanangel: hehe -
MOE will post results online tonight, after 8 pm
-
I know results will be out on MOE website but the thing is i dont want to risk if chances are low u see…cos i’m out of 1km and seems like many are choosing GYPS due to failure in phase 2c for their desired choice.
GYPS has 130+ vacancies which IMO should be safe but wat if there are surprises which we do not expect…
For phase 2B and 2C registrations my hubby and I took turns to call up the schools and enquire on status if they do not have the website to update. Unless there are overwhelming response hence busy to respond… -

I think that with 130+ seat, the possibility might not be so high. Therefore, please wait for the website update and decide by tomorrow morning. -

I hope not ba. Cos i understand based on past histories, they dont have balloting in this phase. :xedfingers:
I called them, they only quoted 90 over vacancies. So i supposed all are still safe.

based on past few years’ history, GY still has vacancies at Phase 3. So if no surprises this year, shouldn’t be much of a problem. all the best!

NYmummy, 90 over? I'm quite surprised w this figure actually. Didn't expect this much on 1st day. last sat we purposely turned in to take a look at the new campus . Seems like still hv slot of outstanding construction works..doesn't seem to be that they can be fully ready by dec based on the outlook of it wor ...actually I tink the road that leads to the main road needs impRovement.. Traffic very slow cos only have one lane that can turn left. We were stucked there like 10 min on a non peak timing just to turn left into the main road
