Hi,

I am also looking for Pre-pri class for my nephew for TAS. Their existing timing clashes with his swimming class. But I know TAS classes are quite fully packed. Unless you are ok with Monday or Thursday? I can make it for both days. I called them up and they said they may start another Pre-pri class but maybe it will be Monday, or Sunday evening.
I can only make it on Monday and thursday as I am not free on other days to fetch my nephew. -

I think Thurs they do not have classes for now. Actually the days they gave me was monday and sunday evening. For thursday, I can make it from 4- 6 pm. if we have 4 to sign up, I think we can ask TAS to start a class. :xedfingers:

Is this class you are looking to sign up for K2s only? If my k1 can
read and write like a k2, could she join you guys? -
My girl was with TAS for one term plus. Initially, she liked the class as there was point system (collect in millions) and kids gets little gifts at times. However, she wanted to quit after we completed one term. She said the teacher was always rushing through and on a whole she felt she was not learning.
I also found mistakes in the markings when we had some time to go through the worksheets recently. My girl had no idea why she was right/ wrong in answering those questions, further more she was confused due to the markings.
Personally, I like the dynamics of the class - interactive and full of energy. I also think that the teachers are committed. They are able to engage the children unlike some typical school teachers. However, I have doubts about their standard of English (may be some of them). I think they merely follow the system/structure set up by the owner. -
Yes, teacher is very important. So far good thing, my kids’ teachers at TAS are good
and so are my friends’ kids who are at TAS. But there was this one teacher that
was not very good. One of my friend’s girl told her mum that the teacher did not
explain the mistakes made and she also felt teacher rushing through and she
could not understand. My friend liked TAS’s methods and so asked to transfer her
to another class and under that teacher, the girl did well and she really liked
going to class as well.
I wonder if it was the same teacher. For every centre, it is important to know
which teacher can suit your child also.
