The main use of a jacket is to keep warm when the weather gets cool and windy.
1. For P1, no textbooks?! does that differ from other Primary schools? I rem seeing some P1 textbooks in Popular. Is Kellock using Stellar prog for their English lesson?
Yes, it is different from some other schools and yes, I believe they use the Stellar programme.
There are P1 textbooks in Popular; we have some Maths textbooks and an English book called My Grammar Handbook which we work through at home for practice.

Hi Nansk,

Thank you so much for your post! It is really a great help to me.
I think I will have to find out more about the Stellar programme. I never hear of it before 😓 😓

Also, can I ask you if you know about their Chinese lesson? My DD's mandarin is not very good so I'm quite worried. Wondering how I can brush up her mandarin.
:thankyou: :salute:

Thks for ur prompt reply.

By the way, for P1 and P2, do they have to stay behind for CCAs? (understand that there's stay back for remedial lessons for weaker students though)
I saw from Kellock's website that CCA is only compulsory for P3 onwards.

I think their strengths are netball and gymnastics. I saw a lot of trophies outside the office when I was waiting for my turn to register.

My gal saw the rhythmic Gymnasium performance at the open house and wants to join that for cca.

Yup, tat's rite. Wow.. u are so observant, i was so kan cheong during the registration day to notice that.

Kellock oso post it on their web tat they r strong in netball and gymnastics. However, if i am not wrong, they oso states tat the student will be bonded in their niche CCA for a certain no. of yrs if they r chosen.

Aiyoh, I am do not like the idea of my dd wanting to join gymnastics. Fortunately, she has no talent in this field and she was not comfortable when walking on the balancing beam on the day of the open house.
