Yes, your description is absolutely correct. This happens for Catholic High too. That's why after the Sibling phase & Alumni phases, there are very few places left for Phase 2B & Phase 2C.

since so many girls’ school already gone IP way including even Cedar, think the next wave that comes along to sweep other girls can probably include … Crescent girls Secondary, PLMGS, Tanjong Katong girls.

MGS IP has already been approved last year. In 2013, they will have their 1st batch of IB for year 1-4 and the girls will join ACSI at year 5-6 for the IB programme.

I think it will take a while before the next batch of IP schools come along. The last batch of 7 new IP schools have increased the number of IP schools drastically and MOE will probably monitor again before granting new IP schools.

Full schools have both primary and secondary sections as one single school. Since affiliation for alumni is based on the school, even if you only studied in the school during your secondary school days, your child will be eligible under Phase 2A.

Not that great wat....Cath High goes into IP in a strange union with 2 other girls' schools that becomes what? Rojak JC? 2 traditionally chinese schools with a \"peranakan\" school? Probably not all that popular, I'm afraid. But if the child is in there, then have IP better than no IP, is that what you are saying? Anyway, school is dual-track. I think only less than 100 students will get to be in IP each year.
