is Paya Lebar Methodist girls (PLMGS) - a full school ?

if MGS (Bukit Timah) is a full school, why PLMGS not listed the drop box?
after all, they are same Methodist denomination.

      same but different set up

the one at Blackmore Drive was established by Sophia Blackmore, a Methodist missionary, while the PLMGS was set up by the Methodist Church of Singapore.... something like that...some body with the detail can fill up the gaps here

      http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Methodist_Girls%27_School

MGS is founded by Miss Sophia Blackmore and supported by the Women’s Foreign Missionary Society of the Methodist Episcopal Church in America, Miss Blackmore, an Australian missionary.

PLMGS was started as a branch of the Anglo-Chinese School and was known then as Paya Lebar English School.Mrs Chew Hock Hin(wife of Rev Chew Hock Hin, lady seated in family potrait) became the Principal of the school. She remained in that capacity until she retired in 1957. She is regarded as the founder of the Paya Lebar MGS because she re-organised the school with the help of the American Crusade Fund.

Dear MummyThreeStreams, does this mean that for full-schools, those who studied in the secondary, but not the primary section, (for example St. Nicks secondary, but not St. Nicks primary) can qualify to register their children in Phase 2A2 (or Phase 2A1 if they joined the school's alumni e.g. St. Nicks alumni)?
Yes, your description is absolutely correct. This happens for Catholic High too. That's why after the Sibling phase & Alumni phases, there are very few places left for Phase 2B & Phase 2C.

and for the same reason, some other schools has less \"full house\" situation after Phase 2A2 after their primary section was split out into a separate pri school

The situation is far more competitive now that Catholic High School has been granted approval to start running it's own IP program starting 2013.

logically speaking, MGS should IP with ACS boys.

if MGS IP has been approved, then how about PLMGS (Paya lebar MGS girls)?

PLMGS should also tag along and IP too, right ?

since so many girls’ school already gone IP way including even Cedar, think the next wave that comes along to sweep other girls can probably include … Crescent girls Secondary, PLMGS, Tanjong Katong girls.

MGS IP has already been approved last year. In 2013, they will have their 1st batch of IB for year 1-4 and the girls will join ACSI at year 5-6 for the IB programme.
