if top Catholic high boys flock to RI/HCI/NUSH, then how about top St Nick girls ?

most of them also heading for RGS /NYGH/NUSH, or prefer to remain in affliated St Nick Secondary ?

8 points difference ... no big deal!

correct way to implement should be 250 for affliated boys .... and 260 for outsider boys coming in.

if NYPS girls minimum is 250 for affliated girls to enter into NYGH, the score for Catholic high boys should at least be likewise. Why should boys lose out to girls ? Catholic high primary also a GEP centre, like NYPS.
Cutoff point for a school is not set by the school. It depends on the number of vacancies and the profile of students applying to that school in that year.

The affiliated score can be set by school though

              JGMum,

Full schools have both primary and secondary sections as one single school. Since affiliation for alumni is based on the school, even if you only studied in the school during your secondary school days, your child will be eligible under Phase 2A.
Learnt something new. I don't see this on MOE website. Are parents, who studied in the sec section of the full schools, informed by the schools that they can get in via P2A?

MOE just says alumni of school. To check eligibity of alumni status, you call/email school concerned to confirm. Anyway, many old girls of St Nics Secondary alone have registered their little ones into St Nics' primary under Phase 2A so confirm can lah.

Has HPPS produced any top PSLE students before? Is HPPS a SAP school?

Last year's results were one of the better data in recent years with quite a decent percentage going to special express stream. Thats what I'd expect from such branded schools- a higher percentage qualifying for special express, rather than average passes that are above national average.

Nanyang attracts a lot of movie producers, parents from movie entertainment circle.

after Mark Lee's turn is Fann Wong's turn, Jacelyn Tay's turn one day ...
It was reported in newspapers than Fann Wong is not pregnant after 2 years of marriage...besides she is staying in Orchard Road...way out of 2km of Nanyang.

Henry Park is a very popular school for those staying in Ghim Moh and Holland Rd...ZT should have thought of that school instead.
