Learnt something new. I don't see this on MOE website. Are parents, who studied in the sec section of the full schools, informed by the schools that they can get in via P2A?SAHM_TAN:

Has HPPS produced any top PSLE students before? Is HPPS a SAP school?[/quote]HPPS not a SAP nor with any affiliation. Not sure about top PSLE student but the top Tamil/ Indian student for PSLE has been from HPPS for a few years running.
Last year's results were one of the better data in recent years with quite a decent percentage going to special express stream. Thats what I'd expect from such branded schools- a higher percentage qualifying for special express, rather than average passes that are above national average. -

Henry Park is a very popular school for those staying in Ghim Moh and Holland Rd...ZT should have thought of that school instead. -

Exactly the same reason why St James kindergarten is a playground for mediacorp artistes -
though HPPS is GEP school, but has not produced Top student so far in past few years.
same goes for - ACS, Catholic high, Nan Hua, Tao Nan GEP schools.
so far, the GEP schools that had produced Top students are Rosyth, St Hilda, Nanyang and RGPS. -
St James kindergarten is a playground for kids of rich TaiTai, mediacorp artistes, doctors practioners, lawyers, bankers aiming for primary schools like ā¦ Nanyang, ACS, SCGS, etc.
they like St James because it is a place whereby besides allowing their kids to learn, also a place for them to network socially amongst themselves. Also, many parents like the curriculum, bec it is learn through play and exploratory method type. For kids at this age 3-6, this method works well.
another drawing attraction is St James kindy has got a list of enticing and very good enrichment programmes, at the kindergarten premises.
