Anyone to give some feedback of this sch? I’m thinking of reg my boi…

I am about to move to Singapore and have three kids with me. Eldest will be in primary two in 2012 and the others to follow suit in 2013.


Planning to stay around the East Coast/Bedok area. I note that both Damai Primary and Bedok West Primary are neighbouring schools with very low Primary 1 intake.

Opera Estate Primary has an equally low intake too.

Any particular reason for the very low intake?

IMO, it is because the school is situated in a private estate and isn't very accessible by public transport. Very secluded and not visible from main road.


The school has a good mix of international kids and has produced some students who went on to pursue studies in schools like VS, RGS, RI...as seen publicized on their website http://oeps.edu.sg/

The school is actually not so inaccessible. It’s less than 10 mins walk from the bus stop at New Upper Changi road to the school’s side gate.

my boy going to OEPS next yr too!


Frankly OEPS is not my first choice, in fact this school never come across my mind ... all 3 schools within 1km required balloting and my boy didn't manage to get into my preferred one (Red Swastika) ... sigh

BUT, I believe Singapore Primary School in average still able to produce good learning environment.

I hope to see more postings from OEPS ex-, existing and going-to-be students' parents

My girl oso going to OEPS next yr. Same as bakebean, OEPS has never cross my mind becos of its location. My girl was balloted out in Phase 2C and 2C(S) for schools within 1km.


Jamum, there is 1 student care at chai chee. I went to take a look at the student care find that the environment is not that ideal. I will be sending my girl to the student care at Bedok North Ave 3.

ya went to take a look at the student care at chai chee. My hubby don’t like the place too… So i had placed my girl at the sunshine club student care at bedok north ave 3 too
