Yes, believe parents will send their sons clamoring in to mix with these 2 excellent schools of well-groomed polite culture girls, well brought up, know how to dance ballet, can dance chinese dance, can grace occassion well, can articulate confidently type ... good potential daughter in law material type.

It was the same last year. Many ACSP GEP boys only got WL not CO from ACSI. I think the ploy was to get the boys to put ACSI as 1st choice and not have the school as back up for RI. That got a lot of parents really upset and quite a few went over to RI.
Overall, it was a very chop-chop briefing. It was over in less than 30 mins. I actually expected a Q and A session, but they probably decided against it as it would have dragged the briefing beyond 6.00pm
Mr Hodge has only been in his capacity for 9 weeks. He would have the opportunity to see the new Yr 1 boys grow as they progress and the boys to really know him and look to him for guidance.
As for the WL, quite a number of the ACSP GEP boys only got WL. Not sure about the exact number but it would seem that HAST really played a part in the selection. So school affiliation don't count, strictly on merit. It is all the more important as there were no interviews at all. And also not forgetting the personal statement. Saw quite a number of students from the non-feeder schools too. It seems they gave out all 90 of the DSA places for the IP and 58 for the Express track who DSAed in through Sports and other Talents. -

KCQ, I like your maturity for someone so young. All the best to your DSA. If it doesn't come through, work hard for your PSLE. I'm sure you'll get into your dream school.

Catholic High boys so lucky! got so many girls to choose from β¦ unlike RI / HCI boys, only stick to one school of girls to choose.
