I find that a lot of times such things happened not bcos the ruling party had a hand in it but more due to some misinterpretation of conditions by some staff in the application and approval process.

@ Funz, precisely, at least clarify with the staff. We have snippets of information and I doubt such things get escalated to the ruling party to approve.


@sub_evo76, To be honest, there is no right or wrong in who people support but it gets out of hand when we lose objective to looking at things and start "attacking" , woe to the person who tries to even try to put in their objective view.

The remarks made by the lady \"Rachelle\" just went horribly viral, my FB was plastered with it and terrible comments were made in protest to what was written. Think of most of it is utterly crude to write it here. In the end, can't believe it was a Singaporean... all of a sudden, those who written \"stop posting\" and just grumbled \"how come own kind scold own kind\" :skeptical:

Sometimes with such stuff they will yue miao yue hei. So sometimes, better to let it run its course. If the authorities want to respond to every such incident, then where got time to implement policies.

In any case, I find it in bad taste for CSM to be putting that on his Facebook and stirring up public sentiment.

Reporting is one factor but reporting without covering all the facts isn't exactly ideal either as newpapers should be reporting facts, not political tabloid news and leaving it for the public to assume. You can see how the public is re-acting.

Yes... I tend to agree with this. We are all in a fog of misinformation and it takes some discernment to sieve out truth from untruth. I personally find this hard to believe.

I totally disagree with this.

He has an obligation to explain why he did not attend the event to his residents, or pple might say after elected the Opp MPs were \"stuck up\" and don't give face to the grassroots by \"refusing\" to attend the events..
