Can we go after sch care of Wellington if we are not from the school?anxious:
Looking at the number of applicants about 164 applicants (Canberra + Endeavour) need to go into 2C supplementary (11/12 Aug). Wellington only have 104 places so if all rush to wellington, ballot again. Yes, Wellington have before and after school care. It can take up to 40 students.
No, no outsider. All primary school in-house student care only reserved for their own students. Sembawang has a few student care you can go
i)YMCA Student Care (Blk 471 Sembawang Drive) Tel:67564469
ii) Mainspring BASC (Blk 466A Sembawang Drive) Tel:64832760
iii) Evangel (Blk 503B Canberra Link) Tel:68535813
iv) SFSC (Blk 326 Sembawang Cresvent) Tel:67542890
Hope that helps.
Thanks so much for the info -

Hi all,
When do you all start thinking about which primary school you want to put your son/daughter to?
I think it is very scary topic nowadays. I am an ex student of Bukit Merah Primary school ( which is where Gan Eng seng Primary occupying now). My hubby is from Xin Ming Primary school (Hougang) . We are staying in Sembawang. There are only 2 schools which was closer to our place Canberra primary & Sembawang Primary. Are these 2 primary comparable to the rest of them? -
Out of 4 primary school- Can any parents input their view?? All equally good in term of accademic and in CCA? Any school perform particularly well in certain area?

The more popular schools in Sembawang are Canberra and Endeavour.
Not sure what you meant by \"comparable\". It depends on your criteria. You may like to go through the posts in this thread to find out more about the schools. You may also read up the Parents Networking section of the respective schools. -
I graduated from Wellington Primary in 2010 into Maris Stella High School. Wellington Primary was like a second home to me. There were no bullies around when i was in lower primary, and the teachers there were great. My form teacher understood us very well and knows what we needed to improve ourselves. He put in alot of effort everyday into teaching us and at the end of the day, his shirt is soaked even when the classroom is well ventilated and had fans. Nearing our PSLE, he even stayed back longer to have supplementary lessons for some of us and to be honest, our whole class wanted to have supplementary lessons. One of my peers begged his parents to write a letter to the teacher to allow him to attend supplementary classes. His teaching were great and I got a T-score of 233 under his teaching.
