2) Tin A contains some 20-cents coins and Tin B contains some 50-cents coins. There are 9 more coins in Tin A than in Tin B. The amount of money in Tin A is $2.70 less than that in Tin B.
How many 50-cents coins are there in Tin B?

2 units + 1unit + (2units – 78) ------172

5 units ------ 250

Number of eggs sold on Sun ----- (2*50) – 78 ------22.



Q2) Suppose or pretend that you remove 9 20 cents coins from Tin A.

9*20 ---- 180

Now Tin A has (270+180) or 450 cents less than Tin B

Difference in value between a 50 cents coin and 20 cents coin ------ 30 cents.

450/30 ------ 15

There are 15 50 cents coins in Tin B.

May paid $3.40, Sally paid $3.60

Total paid by May & Sally = $7.00 = 7 apples + 7 oranges
So, 1 apple + 1 orange = $1

Sally paid $3.60 for 4 apples + 3 oranges, so 1 apple = $3.60 - $3.00 = $0.60, 2 apples = $ 1.20

Q2. length = 3 x breadth... with this, I think you can solve it

Actually, my DD solved the first part. But, all the adult kept asking her why 5 units? Said that she cannot use this matter.

As for the other question, how to use 4 x 4 when the question asked rectangle? It will become a square, right?
