What exercise works best to slim down tummy?

I don't know how true is this, someone once told me that the fats around the tummy are more stubborn. Before one can lose the tummy fats effectively through exercises that tone the tummy, one has to first lose the \"other\" fats - this is dependent on individual's body. Only when one's overall body fats is sufficient trimmed, can one see the effect on the tummy.

I have not idea how true is the above \"advice\".

I am taking a powder drink that is make up of whole grains, wheats, fruits and vege - Lacto Fiber. The main purpose is to give fiber to our body so that is cleanse our digestive system.

If taken 1/2 hour before food, it does give you the filling feeling so that you won't eat as much. To a certain extend, it has help me curb my eating. So now for my dinner, I have cut down by 1/2 on my rice, taking more vege and protein. Not sure if you will be interested in this. Since it is made from natural ingredient, it is more safe than those pills. I am still breastfeeding and this drink is safe for pregnant and breastfeeding mum too.
Hi kwokwc, may I know where to get it and how much?
        Thanks.

There’s also a pill call Xndo…its suppose work like a fats blocker and block the fats in the food from being absorbed by the body. Not too sure how safe this is though.

this is very true. When one exercises, fats will be \"burned\" off. However, you don't really know which part of your body fats will be burned off. It all depends on your body composition. Varies from person to person. However, for the vast majority, the fats in the abdomen area is usually the last to be burned off.

There is no exercise that specifically targets the fats in the abdomen. The crunches, sit ups, etc... all strengthens and tones the abdominal muscles, but doesn't do much in terms of burning off the fats in that area. If you focus on crunches, you will get toned abdominals, but you will not get to see it if it is covered by a layer of fat.

The bottom line is that you need to do cardio exercises to burn off all the fats in your body before you see a reduction of fats in the abdominal area. Once fat in that area is minimized to low double digits (% body fat), you'll get to see your toned abs from the crunches.

For effective cardio exercises, you'll need to achieve at least 70% and above of your maximum heart rate to burn fat. Start off with 70% and work your way up up.

walking and running will help slim down. My DH lost 10 kg in 10 weeks just from running and lost 4 inches off the waist.
