Good to hear that! Seems like atropine is the only solution to control myopia.

Hi, my DD eyesight had been used to increase up to 100 degree per year. But luckily, it had stopped increasing after she been eating fresh blueberries almost 3-4 times weekly. No harm trying if you want.

That is an interesting remedy. No harm trying but expensive, hopefully it will work fast haha.

                  Hi Alonzo

If your problem is that you cannot see things that are at a distance clearly or cannot see things that are near clearly, you can see any dispensing optician. If your problem is more complicated, you may need to see an eye doctor or an Ophthalmologist.

Anyway if you are not sure, you can go to Eyewear Optics on the first level of Thomson Plaza and look for Alex Chong. Although Alex is not an Ophthalmologist, he is able to detect common eye problems and make appropriate recommendations. And if your problem is just short or long sightedness, he can easily prescribe you a pair of glasses.

                      Hi mocllh

HPB did a promotion \"Keep Myopia at Bay, Go Outdoors and Play\". You can download the publication from this link http://www.hpb.gov.sg/edumaterials/download.aspx?id=9462

There is also a Razor TV show \"Stop myopia from getting worse\". Just bear with the advertisement at the start. You can watch it at http://www.razor.tv/site/servlet/segment/main/news/45286.html

Sorry didn’t have time to read all the posts here. Could I ask a quick question?

If ds has frequent headaches and couldn’t read the board from the last row, does that mean that he has myopia? Is it better to go to the optician or GP for eye checkup? Thanks.
