it is applaudable that u are teaching your kid the language from young, but i think it is even better if you could try teach them to say in full sentence ,it really helps when they need to 造句 in school.

The point of the game is to make something out of the cards he has on hand. The cards are placed face down (hypy is visible but he can't read that yet). He doesn't see which card he will get before he tries. Only if he succeed in reading, then he can claim as his own.

I understand and concur on the part where I should introduce proper sentence to him. But I rather he recognise the words and get fun out of it, than worry about sentence construction. I don't want to crimp his style by objecting at every turn what he makes of it. We'll laugh if his sentence is ludicrous.

That said, the example is utterly a figment of my imagination, I couldn't think of what to type.

anyone use pelangi chinese books for preschooler? i saw there are a series of 50 books for pelangi for 3 years and above, the sentences are form with simple chinese words.. anyone tried? it's abt $3.90 per book in popular.. wonder if can get a better price else where

Hi, just to share that we have borrowed the following CL comic books from the NLB and the stories are about how a female teacher offers her help to those problematic 叛逆 teenagers in the Secondary school.


DD get to understand their behaviour were caused by the complicating background and brought up. We can see the effort the teacher put in (不离不弃) and the serious consequence the teenager pay for.

For 笑傲江湖 (26 books)，we borrow/reserve from NLB but is incomplete set as some of the books are not longer exist.

For 天龙八部 (21 books)，we just placed the purchase since is still available due to difficult to gather all 21 books as one go. However, I have borrowed one from NLB then purchase the set since DD has not problem reading it.
