I think we don't post all the time. But when we do post, it's fast and furious. Haha.

This week ds has quite a bit of homework - 3 copies of ε₯½ζœ‹ε‹, 6 pages of Chinese text to memorise (liang chi?), one English essay, one informal piano test by piano T on Sat, on top of the work I give him daily. When ds is busy .... implies I'm busy too so not much time to post.

Side track a bit. One of my distant relatives married a foreigner and their eldest is in P1 now in a neighbourhood sch. My relative is those super busy with work type and his wife (being unfamilar to the system here) thought that her kid can begin learning proper in P1. She didn't prepare her child in any way. Recently she was complaining that her kid is now scoring all below average grades in school; and blaming herself for it.
She still has time to do catch up!! I m sure u have lot of tips for her too!! πŸ˜‰

Looks like no school is spared from the madness now...but PH has always kept the seats HOT (not warm) for students so that they don't rest on laurels.
Bro Mark is starting to feel the heat in the last term of P1.

Not everyone has the same viewpt and resources, so even when I share tips, I've to be very careful to learn what not to say. Eg. they have 3 kids, I have one. It's almost impossible for one parent to coach all three comprehensively (since the dad is out of town half the time and the mum's native language is not English).

Yeah, next yr ds may have moxie; the year after Science; and the year after that MO; then P5 should be preparing for PSLE. Think by P6, I'll become botak. πŸ˜‚

But still, I knew what I am getting into when I pv into PH, so can't complain. DS still looks to be coping well despite the accelerated speed in T4. Long may that last, hehe.

I agree. It's the PARENTS who feel the stress FIRST! I am not so worried if it's English, but for Chinese. . .SIGH. .. .

A neighbour complained to me that her grandson had to do 6 little story booklets for Chinese from last week till Oct. Poor Nai Nai as she is the main caregiver. It will be poor us next year.
