BookFest @ Singapore 2011
18 November 2011 - 27 November 2011
BookFest is a well established and successful book fair in Singapore. 2011 marks the 6th Anniversary since its inauguration in 2006. BookFest has garnered great attention and support from our readers. The recorded attendance was an average of 500,000 visitors during the book fair period over the past years.
BookFest@Singapore first started in 2006 with the objective of promoting a vibrant environment of reading and learning for all ages.
Organised by Popular Holdings Limited, this mega book festival event celebrates a richly diverse assortment of opportunities for learning and edutainment, with the entire Suntec Singapore’s Hall 6 being converted into a larger-than-life bookstore that shoppers can immerse themselves in.
Exciting highlights lined up at this year’s annual Bookfest@Singapore include Readers’ Choice Awards, National Chinese Creative Reading Competition and Teachers’ Resource Corner.
Consumers can also look forward to local and overseas authors appearances, dynamic stage performances, and an extensive showcase of merchandise offered at fantastic value and prices.
Don’t miss this valuable 10-day extravaganza from 18 to 27 November 2011 at Suntec Singapore Hall 6 – see you!
Hall 601-603 (Level 6) -
Hello I love those book fairs (not those huge Expo like fairs) that sell old/pre-loved story books at those shopping centres type... they sell Ladybird Read it yourself series at $1 etc type...
The last time i chanced upon this type of book sales was at Thomson Plaza---i bought a few books and read to my kids and they love it!
I am hoping to get more books thru such book sales for preloved books--- Any kiasu parent out there who knows any of such sales? Please let me know! Thanks in advance!!
