has the polic investigated what is the root cause of the marriage that broke down, leading to such a sad and painful commit suicide case ?..

the 3 year old boy is so adorable, so sad.

whatever marital woes happen in the family, it is wrong to end the poor child’s life, even if he is her son. I hope Buddha is merciful to these two pitiful souls … they shouldn’t have died in such a terrible manner via drowning. They shouldn’t have died in the first case.

It was very sad for the young boy whose right to live was taken away without his consent (so to speak)
I wonder her mum had fed her even more hatred while she was alive by cursing together with her about her ex husband and probably her in-laws too, without realising that she needed more 'antidote' instead of more poison against her perceived or real unfair treatment.

Looking at the mum's picture, I have no doubt that like any other mothers, she loves her daughter, esp at this grave moment of grief. But somehow, love, if expresses through the wrong way, can kill.

I am also wondering if she has repeatedly talked to her daughter's body to let go and to rest in peace, maybe there is still a chance that her daughter's eyes can be finally closed by self instead of getting into maybe deeper sin of perhaps managed to come back to haunt the ex to don't-know-what-extent.

God is watching - this is what they need to know. It is not necessary for us to hurt ourselves in order to settle scores.

Only forgiveness can bring peace and can let everyone move forward. Bearing of grudges and thoughts of vengeance most of the time will only bring more hatred and hurt for self and people around. Her mum now seems to be consumed so much by hatred and vengeance that she may do things that may further hurt her family. Being the only surviving parent of the family, she actually is the key person to steer the family out from this tragedy coz she has other children watching on her(somewhat like a 'role model'). I wish she be wise...
I am thinking all these lines too...

why was the uncle ungrateful ?

seems like hatred & vegeance is now passed down from one generation to another. Time is the healing factor …

So sad. How does the 8 year old reckon he’s going to take revenge? It’ll be a vicious cycle if this continues. I wish some social workers would reach out to them. The child needs counselling to help him get over his grief.

Very sad case. I guess it’s in our Chinese blood to indulge in conflicts and revenge.
