      Pen88n:

But all the kids are happier and no kids crying or breakdown after the paper. Isn't this a better scenario? I really sympathise with kids who felt so stressed with difficult PSLE paper......afterall they are only 12 and why need to go thru' such agony.....

think they r stressed coz their parents have high expectation.

like in the recent gep screening test. some broke down after the test coz did not even do x no. of qns. my girl saw it in a diff light, ie, since many did not finish it, then it's normal!!!

:rotflmao: your girl take after you lah...Nebbermind...It's ok not to complete all gep question...my ds didn't complete many during the first round but managed to get in 🤷

Could anyone enlighten me - if there are marks deducted for writing extra points in SW.

In one of the school’s SW - the task was to write post card to your aunt saying you were visiting her in Australia. In the information provided in the picture - arrival and departure flights were included. But in the question - it just asked for the dates of the trip. Would the child be penalised if he also stated the flight information.

        Thanks in advance.

Q52 can't be any since the word behind is prescriptions.

            Hi ngbrdad,
My younger sister's answer is \"expensive\". Is it correct or not? Pls advise.

Hi Leanne, Brenda10, i won't buy this 'new' set of 2011 prelims papers as i didn't even buy the 'old' set  ! DS' teachers have been giving them most of the top schools prelims exam papers to do for the past few weeks, including rosyth & nanyang, even river valley & kuo chuan etc.

I don't want to add anymore extra burden on DS' shoulders (& mind) now, as I know DS' character very well (if he knows there is still 'undone' practice exam papers in the house, he will surely try his best to finish ALL before his exam)!

DS' teachers are still giving them other school's prelims exam papers to do (though not 2011), even today! So, as of now, I just want DS to rest well, stay calm, be healthy & happy, before his PSLE!

Here's wishing your DDs ALL THE BEST in their PSLE this Thursday! Also wishing all KSP parents' & their DD/DS BEST OF LUCK in their PSLE!!

                  Jia-you.. Jia-you!!! :rahrah: :rahrah:

                  do the papers
                  HI firefly38,

Thank you for your good wishes and I also wish your DS good luck and all the best. :rahrah:

Your DS school is very on by giving them so many practices unlike DD school drag to last minutes then start giving.

BTW, think this period will just go through quick revision and let her has more play time and TV time.

Let's wish all the P6 students good luck and all the best! :rahrah: :rahrah: :rahrah:

                        Hi Brenda,

Hope your DD has less homework today. 😂

We have also taken a break from science revision to focus on English & Maths. Will fully utilise the weekends to focus on MT & Science. Overall, I think DD is ready for PSLE, except for maths...still some fine-tuning required...keke

                        Hi Tinkerebelle,

                        I hope so lah.

BTW, there is still one more supplementary class requested by her CL teacher today. As such, hopefully they settle everything in the class and NOT to bring any more work home.

For maths, we let one set of 2011 prelim paper (will just do Section C) to clear.

Hope to get rid of the EL papers and Math paper immediately this Friday!

                        Hi Brenda,

Your DD's CL teacher is indeed very dedicated. :salute:

Did your DD manage to finish the last set of math prelim yesterday? DD has cleared the maths & English papers so she'll just be reading her compo today.

Yes, can't wait till PSLE is over!! 😂
