I wish my DH would do something too, but he is simply too bo-chap.
in a marriage/relationship , lots of give and take,

in my case, I will always go into the rain to drive car to the family ( or nearest sheltered pickup point ), or bring umbrellas back for them. Rain is not a big deal for real men :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: We walked for miles and miles in rain carrying 25kg of stuff on our back in our army days.
but occasionally, DW offered to go, but before she can finished her sentence, I am already halfway to the car :imanangel: :imanangel:
I think the reason so little men post here and a few other sensitive threads, is because usually all these emo questions are posed and deliberated by women. :siam:
Look at the in-law problems thread, so many pages !! You seldom see men having problems with the in-laws , do you ?

I guess its true that we shouldn't jump to conclusions too quickly.
For example, at a hawker centre, when ordering food ... who does the ordering?
I used to think that once we find a seat and sit down, DW will tell me what she wants and I go order/buy and return to the table.
Did this since BF/GF days and continued when we were married. But sometime later, DW tells me ...
\"You sit down, you tell me what you want to eat, I go and get.\"
When I ask her why? Her reply was
\"You know what you want to eat, but I don't. I need to see the food and then decide\"
So from that time on, sometimes I order/buy ... sometimes she order/buy.
But till today, I still feel awkward when she order/buy and I sit there at the table waiting to be served

because it is MUCH BETTER than if you go order for her, and then skali she said 'that's not what I wanted to eat today' or worse....' until now, you dunno what I like to eat ???' :slapshead: :slapshead: She can enjoy eating that particular food for months, but on that day you go order for her hor, different appetite mood ! :evil:

as for me, it depends whether we are in a new harkwer centre/foodcourt or teh usual ones....
for new places, i would tell hub to get a seat while i go round and looksee what food i wanna to eat.
for usual ones, i will be the one sitted, juz tell him what food to buy for me ....Strparent:
then my hub was lucky.....i had no food craving for my pregnancy......lolzI still have nightmares about those pregnancy cravings :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

on Behalf of my hubby, regardless of weather conditions my hubby would carry the stuffs to the car with him and drive the car over. Unless heavy down pour then the stuffs will be left behind for me to eye power until he arrives withe the car.

Suppose on a heavy rainy day both of u has only one umbrella and u need to go get yr car in an open carpark. What would u do? Both share the tiny brolly. U go drive car over. Ask wife to drive car over

One difference I observed b4 and after marriage is: the opening of the car door for me. It does not happen that often after marriage. During courtship is always happens without fail though i do not expect him to do so. -

For our case, usually he would be the one guai guai sit there and chop the seats while me and DS go and shop for our food. Only then he would order his... but then his wife me is well known for flicker minded, after tasting a few mouth I might just want to change to eat some other things upon seeing the next table food.

So he is smart at times not to order 1st.. or better still ask me what other food would I like to eat. Else I would dump the remaining to him Luckily I have him, else I would be very wasteful on the food.
