There's a good TCM physician at Telok Blangah who speaks both English and Mandarin.. She has a masters and Phd in TCM and used to work for Tan Tock Seng Hospital. For the last decade or so, my whole family (and extended family) have gone to see her for all our TCM treatments... and her charges are very reasonable.

She even has a blog where she posts about the cases she has treated etc...

Call 62726400 for address and opening hours... Clinic's name is Yong Kang Medical Hall and physician's name is Dr. Ong Swee Ling. See pic of her clinic below that I downloaded from her blog.

My family's tcm physician is at bukit batok east blk 271. The physician 黄医åøˆ is singaporean and very patient, would translate and explain those tcm terms in english for us. I can see improvements in my child's appetite and weight after 2months so quite satisfied so far. Must prepare to wait though šŸ˜‰

Does anyone have any good TCM physician who specialises in treating childhood asthma? I tried to call Chung Hwa Medical to check on Physician Xu who was highly recommended in the earlier posts, but they told me that Physician Xu is no longer with them.... šŸ˜ž

Will prefer a TCM who is well experienced in this area, rather than just going to any TCM out there. Anyone with recommendations, please do let me know! TIA!!

Where do you stay? I know of one good one in Yishun area. Opened last year/early this year I think. Heard Pan Ling Ling (the local actress) and some of her colleagues/ family members go there quite often. The tuina sifu is from China. My helper complained of pains in one of her arms/hands and I sent her to an Acupuncturist 2 times. No use. The pain is still about the same and didn't improve at all. Then was recommended this tuina sifu. She was there the first time and she can feel the difference of the after effect, but we were also told that the pain arised from her childhood injury, that's why she felt so painful. Luckily, after we bought her there the 2nd time, her condition improved a lot and didn't complain about pain anymore.

thanks..I stay not too far from Yishun where I used to stay before I got married...may I know the contact no and the address..thanks!

Can give us the name, address & contact of this tuina shifu? Need to cure my frequent shoulder & neck pain. Thanks.
Sorry, vlim and sheryl, redribbon just PM me about this and so I came back to have a peek. I just read your posts

The Chinese physician is Liu Yishi (Physician Liu). There's also another physician, Gao Xijie (Ms Gao). Too bad I stay too far from Yishun, otherwise I'll go there more often.

Although they operate daily, you must call them to make an appointment. They entertain walk-ins but you may have to wait quite long when they are busy.

Let me know your experience with them. ; - D[/quote]Just an update, Liu yishi (male) is no longer with Fu Kang, left weeks ago. The other female Chinese dr still around.

my 2 kids ( now pr 2 n pr4) used to be quite weak during their pre-school days. My mom then suggested i enrolled them for swimming class. I let them wear the \"thermal\" type swim wear n return home to shower ( warm water )...touch wood, i see good results... they are still going for their once a week lesson till now šŸ™‚
