You can do so. I contacted my travel agent at UOB Travel. There isn’t any diff. in pricing only on the service they provide.

Yarra valley definitely, it has a stunning view of rolling hills and vineyards even it's a road trip. Summer is a great time to take one of these hot air balloon rides as the skies will be clear n te weather mild. Hope you're able to get tix!

        2010sunflower:
Has anyone try the hot air balloon in Melbourne- 1 located in Mel city and the other in Yarra Valley? Is it value for money as it costs $350 for 1 hr flight per adult and $285 for kid?

Anyone tried staying Service Apartments near the town area in Melbourne? I am looking for recommendations of good and relatively cheap ones.

We stayed at Oaks on Lonsdale (hope I got the spelling right) some time back. Nice. Not sure of their pricing now.

Thank you! It looks good but a bit too far from the city…I would need to be in the city to attend some business meetings but bringing my kids so they can also enjoy. Any kiddy attractions in the city?

Take a day trip to Philip Island. Worth the day off.

Docklands have a nice shopping area... cheap branded clothes!

Eating around Chinatown is good too.

Can't remember mich kiddy fun stuff around there really... Maybe the aquarium?

depends on the age and interests of your kids, they may enjoy the Children's Gallery at the Melbourne Museum. My then 6 year-old dd enjoyed the visit very much.
