GEP 2011 - Screening & Selection

My DD spend a lot of time on 1 questions, and left 10 questions not touched, but she said today’s paper is easier than yesterday’s.

Huh. The math is easy but the General Ability II… quite hard compared to the first one, though.

Seems that kids have different abilities. My dd said the first day's Eng and GA I papers were easier. She said the second day's Maths paper was difficult. She didn't comment on GA II. Let's see what happens :xedfingers:

Thank you ! It was indeed very cheering to see all ( or almost all) smiling faces of the kids when they got off the buses after the exams, with some shouting \" GEP exam over ! \" . Guess they can relax a little, and then off for another big battle ... P3 year-end exam !

He was like back from excursion

My child mentioned that Math paper is more difficult than English paper and GA1 is more difficult than GA2 but he enjoyed both GA paper. He did not manage to finish the Math paper too. Similarly, he could not recall the questions for both days and came out of the test centre feeling very hungry.

It seems very weird that most kids came out without able to recall any questions. My DS also like that. But he enjoyed all the papers he said though hard.

"Words" become "Sword"

Here's my dd's feedback in order of difficulty:
1. GA II (Math) (easiest)
2. GA I (Eng) & Eng Paper
3. Math Paper (hardest)

Yes, she enjoyed the GA papers most...
