      Yes smurf, you are right.

hawker centre or zi cha stall expensive!
yesterday ate 1 plate of hor fun costs $3.50 - not much ingredients, portion also small and reduced, unlike last time served bigger portion.

i also noticed last time they sell other dishes at $3.50. But now no more, they raised another 50 cents more, so become $4.

I already give up when I see pp buying atas kopi at $6 a pop at Starbucks without batting an eyelash. Very impressed.

Agree. I cannot understand why people can drink coffee at $6/$7 a pop. I have the same caffeine fix at $1 a pop or if I'm lucky, I can sometimes even get it for $0.90 a pop ... and it comes served to me at the table with free LCD TV viewing πŸ˜„

even the cost of instant coffee (eg. nescafe) has gone up from $3.90 to $6.20 within 2 years. plus everything i stock up milk powder (i usually clear the shelves when they either having buy 1 free 1 or exchange empty tin promos), i notice they’d change packaging with a 20-30% price hike few months later. when will i get a 20% pay hike within few years? Dan Gu Gu.

Same goes for milk powder. shrunk in size, but the price tag increases. Each time there is an offer, I quake becos it only means they will increase price after the offer period (if they haven't done so already). Lucky I don't have babies anymore. whew!
