I enquired about the Holiday programme and found about this ‘Love to Write4’ which is held in Ang Mo Kio(5/12 to 6/12) or Bukit Timah(7/12 to 8/12). Has anyone signed for this course yet? The course description says about ‘teaching children how to inject humor into stories’. I wondered if only this aspect will be covered during the class. Maybe they assume those who sign up can already write compo well. My boy(P2) has yet to master compo writing skills. I am looking for a writing class which will equip him with better skills. So am wondering if this is a good choice. Any ideas? thanks

            Hi all,

Just to share this bad experience with all the parents that are keen to enrol in TAS.

About 2 weeks ago, I arranged with the person-in-charge that my kid will be going for the trial class at Bukit Timah Branch. On the day, we rushed home to fetch my kid there on time after work. To our astonishment, instead of seeing happy kids attending classes, we realised the school was CLOSED.

Apparently no one was there, not to mention any class going on. There were no calls from the person-in-charge, of any changes etc prior the day.

So frustrated and angry when your calls to the person went unanswered. Made many calls to her, but no response.

WHAT KIND OF SERVICE IS THIS??

If TAS ever sees this post, would you care to comment?

                Hi Lakesidemum,

You can reach them by email. They are quite good and understanding in settling matters with parents. I don’t think they will close their centre suddenly but in the case of such an event, you can email them and maybe put attention to the person in charge?

                Naviseal,

Do you need a referrel still?:)

                  Hi ccgoh,

Thanks for your advice. I have completely lost faith in TAS. I can't entrust my kid to such an enrichment centre. Till now, I have not hear anything from the school, very disappointing.

                      Hi,

I need a referral. Decided to sign my kid up after the trial as she really enjoyed the lesson 😄

Sorry but what is TAS? Their creative writing book is suitable for which age group?
