:thankyou: If I bring my own GPS, would the GPS charger be able to fit into the electrical outlet of the car there?Hi Puffer, go to http://www.govia.com.au, and pay the toll you incur within 3 days from the day you incur. If you rent a car, sometimes the rental company would have put a credit card with the car. In that case, the credit card will be charged all the toll for that period. You can then pay the rental car company the toll.
Check with the rental company what is their policy. In any case, if you are sure you cross a toll gate, it is best to always call them just to check, or go to the website. A bit kiasu. Or register your credit card with the car's registration number for the period you are driving.
If you prefer to call, this is the number 1 3000 46 842.
Hope this helps! No I'm not native here. I just live here during term time, and I go back to Singapore during summer. -

Puffer:
I've never used a GPS in Singapore so I don't really know how it looks like. But I reckon they are about the same. Make sure your GPS has the right software for Australia, though. If your GPS does not work, you'll have to rent one from the rental company, I think it is a few tens of dollars.

Trolley boys are syndicates at the shopping malls in charge of the trolley in GC. They go around making havoc. Young Australian boys. -

Wah! Welcome to Gold Coast! It's not that hot lah! About 24 degrees and at night, it turns cooler. Best to rent a car, you can get places very quickly and driving here is fun. It becomes warm only in February. We expect lots of rain in Jan/Feb, but for now, not so. I'll be in Singapore for Jan/Feb though. Yes, remember your umbrellas.

hi 2ppaamm, if F&E but we don't drive, will it be easy to get around in GC with their public transport? Thanks! -
myfun has just introduced something called "super pass". The pass to the 3 worlds is more expensive than the VIP pass but now there is another pass which you can have the option to choose 2 out of the 3 worlds and pay less.
I am flying off tonight. Will feedback after my return. -
Btw, for those who are using Holux brand GPS, it will be easier to search the places by the postal codes. Do remember to go down to the office to "loan" the software on the australia map. First 7 days is FOC, subsequent days is $1 per day.

This new pass more expensive, anyway I've already bought all tickets for the 3 world, outback and curumbin online.
Have a nice holiday :imanisland:
