Is this the exact drawing appear in the question paper ? My daughter remembered the middle line appeared to be dotted and she and her classmate said that they were quite sure there wasn't a '-' in the middle to show that those are isoceles triangles ? :?

don’t worry parents. though they get the answer wrong (including my daughter), i am sure some marks can be accorded if there are some correct workings here and there. may end up getting half mark or 1 mark. Aim is to have clear workings and ability to show examiners you know how to apply your concepts etc so sometimes not getting the answers does not mean getting a "0" for the questions. For those with higher mother tongue, 2 more papers to go! All the best and press on. for those without higher mother tongue, can see the light at the end of tunnel already. just give it all you have and enjoy from 10 am onwards on monday.

                    turquoise:
The answer is 150 deg. The easiest way to get the answer is via the equilateral triangle and isosceles triangle method. Several posters have already shown how to derive the answer.

If still in doubt, draw the figure on a piece of paper, making sure you have a square, and the three lines are of the same length. Measure the angle. It's 150 deg.
cannot be measured ,not drawn to scale

Yes you can if you draw to scale.
