Actually not that bad for mosquitoes...put patches lor...but hot and humid thoughdrickymummy:
Look out for the kids activities organised by PA..I joined a 1 night camp at the Zoo 2 yrs back..was a fun experience for kids though mummy didn't sleep the whole night cos never go camping before  and also cos of all the animal noises around and fear of crocs/ snakes from the reservoir..
But was fun cos u get to go to the behind the door scenes to see what the keepers do..
Oh yes, community centres! We did some baking/cooking, speech&drama class, creative writing classes, and outings with them.
I saw the zoo overnight trip, I am terribly scare of mosquitos. :scared: Although my eldest asked, we did not go. Did you try the underwater world overnight camp?
No time to try the underwater camp.. Maybe will be too cold.. -

Roughly you will know whether your son can continue with HCL or not based on CA/SA results. If they are in the 80 range, then teacher will recommend him to take HCL.
For me, dun care to buy Chinese books for P5 yet becos dunno whether son can get into HCL or not. By next weekend we should know, i guess.janet_lee88:

You cant possibly belong to bo-chap club bcos you have enquired about Science assessment for your boy. Bought it yet ? From Popular Bukit Timah Plaza. Didnt see you there leh  Oh yes, the pop magazine with 20% discount is out. Collected it yet ?

HMT is likely to be allowed when the pupil has no issues with the other 3 subjects (aka scoring good band1) and not failing MT.

My elder boy had his P5 HMT falling to low 70+ and was still allowed to continue with HMT in P6. Of course, we must also do sth on our end to ensure it did not get worse.
Having said this, I guess each year cohort also plays a role. During my elder boy's time, there were only 5 HMT classes. The 5th class had less than 30 pupils. -
Wow, I am sure PHPP is the No. 1 subscribed forum thread.
Any pointer for my DS who will be in Pri 1 next year.
Do I need to get his books and uniform and bla bla prior to the orientation day next week? -

Can I make a guess here? Your last kid is a boy? The older children are girls and in girls' school? -
