Not only that, some Chinese restaurant even charge the kids at $1 per pax even when the kids din even touch the tea that was poured out as they brought their own water bottle... I argue with the captain n ask her to drop the tea charges for the kids...bigsnoopy:
Some restaurants charge 60 cents for water so i rather order a chinese tea which is $1...
i ever encounter a chinese restaurant where they charged for chinese tea per pax at $1
even though i told them i do not drink chinese tea ......

some of the crab buffets which i had been to, the promos were already over.
eg. --- Ellenbourough at Merchant Court Hotel at $62 per pax
--- Spices Cafe at Concorde Hotel at $48 per pax
Lobster (1 serving per pax) and unlimited order of crab dishes with 6 cooking style and drunken prawns
---Plaza Brasserie at Parkroyal On Beach Road at $48 per pax
they served chilli crabs, for this buffet i think it is still on-going,
pl call them up to check if u are keen on it.
****Mods note: if necessary, pl move this posting to whichever thread it's deemed fit.
i thot of linking it to the buffet thread, but it is entitled 1 for 1 buffet....dont seems appropriate too....**** -

service charge is rather ridiculous in singapore especially when many places don’t provide much of any good service at all…hmm maybe i’d be more willing to pay if they do give better service!

We sometimes tell them to remove the tidbits upon seated and returned unused/unopened wet towels and the restaurants automatically deducted these charges from bill.
