isn't SCS(humanities subj) compulsory as well?sall:
Hi Justsay, your dd's batch only need to take 1 humanities? So 7 subjects in total?
Yes only 1 and that's her toughest decision. Ha. I think total 8.
2 maths, 2 sciences,1 humanities, 2 languages and 1 more compulsory project work or CID (not sure what they call it).
Can also choose 1 science plus 2 humanities, chemistry is compulsory. -

So what combi did your son choose? -
Justsay, why 2 maths? Just 1 maths right because they don’t take E maths. Maths is counted as 1 subject. Normally is 8 subjects unless triple Science or Bicult student, them is 9 subjects. I might be wrong lah, but just curious to clarfy.

Huh? Only 1 maths? Only Add Maths? I thought Add Maths must go with E Maths. :? -
So Maths is consider one ot two subjects? But A lvl, only take one maths right?

I think daisyt should be correct. Take both Maths but consider only 1 subject. I assumed that it's 2 subjects as they don't need to submit since it's compulsory. -
I heard dd mention before, only students like triple sci, bicult and 3rd lang students are consider 9 subjs students. So maths should be one subject.

Unlike last year, there's no briefing on subjects combi for parents this year (or I missed it?). -
Justsay, no briefing for parents? Oh… Did you check properly?

I didn't check with the school. I checked with dd, she said she didnt know of any. There's only a talk by P sometimes in March. That's the only one I know of. Is there one on subject combi?
