Today's super bad mood, mc with eye infection & knee cap pain, still has to work & attend mtg then girl brought back her \"rotten\" result back!!

I'm having a bad mood cos of ds too. He didn't do well for one of his tests and I told him that I was pretty disappointed. One thing I really admire about ds is that despite his many flaws - whiny, bossy, mischievious etc etc - is the way he handles adversity.

Though my face was very black, he had the courage to take the initiative to explain to me patiently why he got some of the answers wrong. From that explanation, I realised he only made one careless mistake. The rest were not really his fault. From this example, I know that he'll grow up to be a much stronger character than me.

      You take care.

      he is impressive!

I talked to my boy's CL tutors, both strongly believe he is capable of handling HCL. He, of course, wants to take the easier way out.

Your boy got 2 CL tutors? For CL paper 1 & paper2?

My girl is not recommended for HCL. I'm against HCL next yr, daddy still want his girl to do HCL !

My son also was recommended to drop HCL. After consulting his tutor and assessing his level of interest, we decided to follow the school recommendation.

Dear all, my son will be attending pei hwa p1 next year. He is the eldest of my 3 sons. We will be attending the orientation this Friday. Any other new parents out there? And also a big HELLO to the senior parents!

P/s: I always see Dd and Ds in the forums… stand for dear daughter and dear son is it?

I decided on the opposite -opted against the sch's recommendation. Hopefully the sch accepts our appln.

Can I make a guess here? Your last kid is a boy? The older children are girls and in girls' school?

May I add on to Scary's guess... KSFour has 4 kids? The older kids are in sec sch already? πŸ˜„[/quote]Got KS Points for the ALL Correct Entry or Not?

My boy has two CL paper 2 tutors. That's why I slackened n did not revise with him. Big mistake. Another mistake was not following up on his EL, since those worksheets he brou back all seemed ok.

I was in a bad mood over his EL & CL results too. U take care.

Btw, this sch hols is a must made good use period to brush up as many areas as possible. Next year will be very hard-up for time when the twice weekly supplementary afternoon lessons start.
Jen, U R Right, P5 is When the Kids R started to be swarmed with Sch work. And If U wish to revise P4 stuff, better do this dec.

Just manage your expectations for P5 CA1. Notorious for Scared tactics, and Tremendous Drop in Scores - in the Region of Drop in multiples of tens .... πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰

I started to get heart attacks and high blood pressure from this year...the year my son's P5 results dropped in BIG multiples. For CA1, try not to have expectations.
Twice weekly supplementary leave even lesser time for revision. So this holiday, it will be all round focus. Math twice weekly tuition starts this week too. I really wished there are 8 days in a week and 36 hours in a day...whatever. Just give me more time.

                      Hi,

Can any P1 parents let me know if they have received the tickets for the CDF event this Thursday?

And fyi, I have received the booklist for 2012 but no letter regarding the class. Can I assume it will be Respect + same class number?

Also I am not sure if we are supposed to receive any formal results whatsoever besides the Assessment Portfolio.

                      :thankyou:
