Comparing English Enrichment Programmes

My kids also really enjoyed the Big Camp too. They learnt creative writing, it helped reinforce what they have learnt at TAS. And most of all they got to play a lot of team work and group bonding games which they really loved.
The camp teachers all seemed very friendly and really made them feel at home. We will be going for this Camp United as well. -
Any one joining CH eastgate holiday programme?

hquek:
Are the spelling and grammar book available at Popular? Dont remember seeing them. :?hi allcc6,
So far only creative writing book, spelling book and a grammar book. Vocab book is new. Upcoming is creative writing 2. -
Spelling books is really a list of spelling words and how to break these down. I would not recommend to buy unless one is in the class - nothing exciting inside (like stories).
DS classes uses that as spelling list, so boh pian I have to buy. -
For their camp (still undecided whether to send my kids)- has anyone sent their kids before, advisable to stay over night? How your kids found it?[/quote]
Hi Qirkymum
Your kid definately have fun. My girls (P1 & P3) joined their Camp in June 3D 2 N and Children’s Day program and they love it so much. Parent must learn to let go lah… heee hee hee -
Yes agree with hquek, the spelling book is more a list of easily misspelt words, good to have to teach your kids but not a must have. The must haves are the compo and grammar books. But grammar book only available for tas students. You can get similar type of books where they explain the synthesis structures in Popular but for the front part of the grammar book where they explain the challenging grammar, that part so far I cant find in assessment books at Popular.

Actually, I think a test is a sensible idea. I’d rather not waste money if the professionals don’t think the course is right for my child.
btw, GreenBelt - what was their reasoning?
Doramon, what course are you thinking of signing up for? -
Hi!
How many kids in a class in TAS?
