FYI, recently i found a skate school at West Coast Park near macs. Many adults and some kids learning. They also do doorstep coaching. The skate school is inline fitness. you may want to check out their classes at http://www.inlinefitness.org

The skate camps would be a fun way for your kids to learn blading.

apart from the costs maybe you would be concerned with the aftermath of this sport. my son has been getting alot of scrapes on his knees and goodness knows how many pairs of jeans he has destroyed by falling on his butt or scrapping his knees. you might want to be mentally prepared. hahas.

DS went for lesson with Skateline this Dec hol. He’s a complete newbie. Able to skate after 6 hrs ( 3 hrs each on a Wed & a Fri). Coach is friendly too. DS very happy, able to skate around Bishan Pk by the last hour on Fri.

                      HiHi,

I started a 4 pax private group lesson with inlinex with my son recently. The blades and guards really stink that I helped them to wash them after the 1sr lesson. I am contemplating to get a 2nd hand pair for my son. He was grumbling about how difficult it is but his enthu came bac few days later urging me to bring him to the void deck to practise. Hope he will do better at the next lesson.
