      Sarah Tan:

Heard from one mother at the gate that parents from this site are very informative. My dd has been posted to 5G. Her best friend is posted to 5B.

Anyone knows are these 2 good classes
      :thankyou: ?

According to previous years, these are mainstream mixed-ability classes. The top mainstream classes are usually the E n F classes. However, the other classes do produce some bright sparks as well. Hope your DD gets a great teacher; a wonderful teacher does make a world of difference.

Yeap! I agree with the text in bold.

        hi MummySTay,

your P6 daughter graduating this Saturday grand Finale? sing an 'Auld lang syne' song to RGPS, as she wipes her eyes with tears. All the very best to her, as she starts a new exciting chapter soon, embark on a new journey in RGS.

        to all P6 parents,
all the very best to your daughters - whichever Secondary school she's going, come 2012. God bless ! πŸ•Ί :rahrah: πŸ˜‚

Thanks, phtthp. Yup, DD's graduating this Sat and going on to secondary school, but in my eyes, she'll always be my little girl.
The school gave the girls a graduation Teddy bear each. It's huge, white and made of cloth. The girls had a great time autographing on one another's bears. A very thoughtful memento indeed!

Yes, KSP. this holiday is the best time to re-cuperate, to fully re-charge yourself. Rest well. πŸ˜‚

For phase 2c, balloting within 1km, which is more competitive? Raffles or Nanyang? Anyone knows?

My dd got the teddy bear in her year too. I thought it was a thoughtful memento too, especially with all the autographs. I happened to be near the school during dismissal and saw all the P6ers with their bears. So sweet. My dd and I were wondering what other gifts the P6ers received this year from school. Did they go on any P6 overseas trip or excursion?

There were quite a few excursions - to the zoo and West Coast Park. I don't know where else cos DD missed two weeks of school (with the form teacher's blessings, of course). There were also workshops planned for the girls like scrapbooking. On top of that, the girls had to do some kind of charity project. In short, they were gainfully occupied after the PSLE. Very good planning indeed, unlike some other primary schools whereby the kids were idling and being utterly bored!

Great that they were gainfully occupied after PSLE. I think the girls really want to spend the last few days/weeks together bec not all of them will be in the same secondary school next year.
