agree with Faint, i just ordered from Pacific Bookstore online. Self-collect from school later. There are 4 dates that you can choose from for collection.


The orientation was informative. Ended with heavy downpour.

Thanks. I placed order on orientation day for collection 2 wks later. Orientation is answering test paper for kids & listening to talks for parents. Tried out the food from bistro as it was pouring so can’t go home…

was told by my kid that they did lots of questions too, this will form the basis for class streaming…

20 questions, 16 in English & 4 in Chinese (or other MT). He told me he drew a rabbit for the question on art. I think to make sure same class same standard bah. Either to sieve out outstanding students to chiong PSLE or weaker students (in various subject) to give extra lesson. My view. See if there is any changes to the class lo

The test(s) conducted are for the school to access the kids’ level of understanding and their command of languages.

By the way, all students at NV use HCL/HML textbook for their MT.

Thus, when you buy textbooks for your children, do take note of that.:)

Also, do consider to buy extra sets of PE attires. Reasons being:

1)NV has 3 days of PE lessons.:) On the day when the students have PAL, they are required to wear PE attires as well.

2)The school's art lessons are messy(but fun n interesting!), you will see the children with their tops(PE attires/ Uniform) \"decorated\" with crayons, poster paints, acrylic paints etc.

Hope these information help the new parents who are sending their children to NV.

i successfully transferred my son to NVP for next year P3.

Does anyone knows whether they have any high ability class ? and how are the seating position for P3 ? Anyone has children there P3 and above ?

I also heard they have very low students teacher ratio … which sounds fantastic to me.

thirdly, how much pocket money do u give yr kids for recess every day since there are 2 recesses.
